Beyond the Gym Walls
Every other month, HBC takes the team on the road. Community parks, sporting events, museums, mentorship outings, and cultural experiences — the gym is the home base, but the world is the curriculum.
For a lot of HBC kids, these outings are the first time they’ve been somewhere they only knew from a screen. The outings are deliberately mixed across age groups; older youth mentor younger ones, alumni come back to staff trips, and families are welcome.
