Highlanders Boxing Club

Another Big Win for Our Organization!

Senator Eloise Gómez Reyes

Highlanders Boxing Club / HBC IRON Youth Services is doing more than teaching young people how to box. It's building confidence, discipline, mentorship, and a sense of belonging.

That's why I was proud to secure $500,000 in state funding to support this important work and expand opportunities for young people in our community.

I've had the privilege of recognizing Highlanders' leadership over the years, and I've seen the difference their commitment makes.

When we invest in organizations rooted in our communities, we're investing in the next generation of leaders, advocates, and changemakers.

That's what it means to make government work for people in the Inland Empire.

Assemblyman James Ramos

Congratulations to the Highlanders Boxing Club / HBC IRON Youth Services on this important state budget allocation!

Investing in youth programming means investing in safe spaces where our youth can build confidence, develop skills, find a sense of belonging, and access the guidance and support they need to succeed. I was proud to present a check to celebrate this achievement with the Highlanders Boxing Club, and support their continued commitment to strengthening our community and supporting the next generation.

Assemblyman James Ramos: always rooted in culture and showing the next generation to be proud of who they are and where they came from.
